A whimsical Baroque style white-painted wrought iron and glazed earthenware mounted adjustable stand, first half 20th century, the metal work simulating stylized ivy, leaves and vines.Height closed 52 1/2in; height open 67in; width 19 1/2in; depth 19 1/2in.
Structurally sound. The painted iron stand with heavy wear, and chipped losses to the painted surface. There is one iron ivy leaf that is broken from an old repair, but retained. There is an iron spiral element that is lacking. The glazed earthenware vase with crazing overall, scattered marks and wear to the surface. The adjustment mechanism currently does not allow the stand to stay open at its tallest position.
