A mid 19th century export set, each piece in a celadon glaze and with floral, insect and bird decoration. Comprising: a coffeepot, teapot, covered sugar, helmet form creamer, eight cups and eight saucers.From 4 1/2" in diameter to 11" x 7", the heights range from 3" to 10 1/2".
The coffeepot has a small line at the foot, the teapot has a firing crack (done in the making) at the interior rim of the body, the creamer has two old repairs to the top edge,the body of the sugar has two tight hairlines, one saucer has a hairline, one teacup has a stapled repair to the handle, and one teacup has a hairline.
