Italy, mid to late 20th century, a Gucci burled maple game chest with three felt-lined drawers and a fourth faux-drawer folding game board, the glass top revealing a top drawer housing thirty two circular brass & wood chess pieces, the second drawer opening to reveal a bakelite style poker set, the third drawer revealing two leather dice shakers, a domino set, backgammon/checkers pieces, and two dice, the bottom faux-drawer a folding chess and backgammon board.12.25" H x 19.5" W x 12" D
1.5" Loss to the bottom drawer (edge of the folding game board). Possibly missing pieces in the third drawer. Probably missing a red deck of cards. One of the brass rectangular pieces indicating the pawn has been reglued.
