A Southwest Persian tribal rug, late 19th, early 20th century, of typical design with three central medallions, with geometrical designs. Main borders are red and blue. The field navy blue with geometric floral, animal and bird devices. Corners off white with ascending tulip design.dimensions approximately 7ft 4in x 4ft 8in.From a local collection.
Edges and ends are fine. The field shows signs of reweaving.
