A Neoclassical style gilt and patinated bronze figural candlestick, early 20th century, together with an Art Deco gilt bronze female nude, raised on a cylindrical rouge marble and black slate plinth.Height of candlestick 14in; height of female nude 10in.
The candlestick with heavy wear, toning and rubbing to the surface. Scattered dings and nicks overall the candlestick nozzle with minor bending. The female nude with loss of surface especially to high points on face, chest and backside. There is are scattered flea bites and small chipped loss to the rouge marble and flea bites to the black slate of plinth. The casting of each bronze is somewhat flat and not well developed, lacking detail.
