An early 20th century oil on canvas board, depicting a bridge of the upper Delaware River, possibly the New Hope - Lambertville bridge, signed bottom left. Note: Charles Rosen was a member of the New Hope Art Colony and worked in several different styles throughout his career. His early impressionist impulses eventually yielded to a modernist style, with which he often depicted industrial scenes. He studied at the National Academy of Design and the New York School of Art.9.75" H x 13" W.
Some wear including scattered minor paint loss, especially from rubbing at the edges, some edgewear and separation of the canvas from the board, especially at the lower left corner.
