A Directoire Burl Walnut Inlaid Fruitwood Secretaire a Abattant, Late 18th Century. Surmounted by a rectangular marble top above a single drawer and hinged fall front enclosing an interior fitted with pigeon holes and small drawers and a pair of cupboards below, oak paneled sides, raised on turned tapered legs.

Dimensions: Height 54 1/2in; width 29in; depth 16 1/4in.

Provenance: From the Estate of Bertha Leonard. 

Condition

With a slight wobble. The marble top with scattered small fleabites and chips along the edges. The secretary with wear, nicks, marks, shrinkage, age cracks and small losses to the surface overall. Evidence of old wood worm throughout. With two keys.
