An Assembled Set of Eight D.R. Dimes Mixed Wood Windsor Chairs, Late 20th Century
Comprising a pair of nine-spindle back continuous armchairs and six nine-spindle hoop back side chairs, each branded to the underside of seat "D.R. DIMES". Together with two tables, each pine with a slate blue painted base, the larger opens to receive two leaves by Warren Chair Works.
Dimensions: Height of pair 38 1/2in; width 23 1/2in; depth of seat 15 1/4in; seat height 17in; Height of set 38 1/2in; width 21 1/4in; depth of seat 16in; seat height 17in. The larger table is 56 1/2in x 38in, the smaller is 38in x 38in, each are 29 1/2in tall.
Condition
Structurally sound. General marks, wear, rubbing, abrasions and surface scratches from use, otherwise good condition. The tables show general surface wear including stains and abrasions to the tops.
