A French Neoclassical Style Bronze and Onyx Figural Mantel Clock, Late 19th / Early 20th Century. The circular white enamel dial having Arabic numerals, the twin train movement with platform escapement, striking on a gong, the backplate with S. Marti pastille.
Dimensions: Height 27 1/4in; width 10in; depth 11in.
Provenance: Property from From a New Jersey Estate.
Condition
The re-painting/re-gilding to the bronze is of low quality. Rubbing and wear overall. The figure's violin is lacking several wire strings. Several vacant holes to the onyx. Dust and surface dirt in crevices of figure. The onyx base is lacking several large sections. We cannot guarantee the completeness and functionality of the clocks movement.
