An oversized silver-plated hog scraper push-up candlestick, 19th century, likely for a shop display, having an applied 'wedding band' to the shaft, together with a similar brass push-up candlestick, 19th century.height of tallest 19 3/4in; diameter 9in; height of smaller 6in.
Typical wear and toning to the silverplated example. Minor bending throughout. In overall good condition. The small brass candlestick lacking push-up knob.
