To include a group of 11 large circa 1930 Chinese Republic period photographic prints depicting various subjects by Paul de Gaston (signed in pencil), an American photographer born in China. This lot also includes a colored photograph of a Chinese temple, an early 20th century Japanese photo book with silk covers and gilt edged pages containing approximately 46 color photographic prints of Japan circa 1920, and an albumen photograph of Japanese children wearing and holding masks.De Gaston Sheets: 14" H x 19.25" W.
