A Set of Five Classical Carved Mahogany Dining Chairs, Early 19th Century. Each having a unique carved crest rail with birds or winged serpent with matching needlepoint slip seat.
Dimensions: Height 34in; width 18in; depth of seat 15in; seat height 17in.
Condition
Structurally sound. With scattered marks, wear, nicks, abrasions, surface scratches and small losses. Scattered repairs, replaced corner/glue blocks. Heaviest wear to the the legs and blocks at top of seat rails. Some mildew to underside of chair frame. The needlework seats are mid 20th century and in overall good condition.
