A Swiss parcel ebonized, string and burl inlaid figured walnut cylinder music box, late 19th century, No. 7624, with a 15 3/4 inch cylinder playing eight aires, the hinged lid having the original pinned paper tune sheet to the underside, the sheet numbered to match the movement.Height 7 3/4in; width 25 1/4in; depth 9 3/4in.
Generally good condition overall, the case with typical marks, nicks and scratches, minor losses and lifting to veneers. The brass cylinder turns and plays. Handle to left lifts. We cannot guarantee the completeness, functionality or working condition of mechanical movement. No case key.
