Three Hale Oak Barrister Sectional Bookcases, Herkimer, New York, First Quarter 20th Century. Comprising a pair with four sections, and a single with three sections. Each surmounted by a removable crown, the pair raised on rectangular plinth bases, and the single raised on a frame with long drawer and square tapered legs. Each section with manufacturer's decal inscribed 'Hale / Herkimer, N.Y.'
Dimensions: Height of pair 64in; width 34in; depth 12 1/2in; Height of single 45 1/2in; width 34in; depth 11in.
Provenance: Property from a Pennsylvania Collection.
Condition
Structurally sound. One section from the pair lacking a piece of glass to the door. General fading, scattered small losses to moldings at sides. Typical scuffs, surface scratches and abrasions throughout. Dust accumulation.
