A Hamilton 'Masterpiece', 10k Gold Wristwatch, Equestrian Interest 

Mid 20th century, a hand winding Hamilton wristwatch in a 10k gold case with horned lugs, the dial with small seconds and applique numerals and dot indices. The back of the watch has an inscription with equestrian interest:  "George D. Widener, Director / 1939 - 1966 / E.S.B." 

Dimensions: 32.5mm in diameter, lugs are 17mm in width, lug to lug is 40mm, the total approximate gross weight of the watch is 14 dwt. 

Provenance: From a local collection. 

Condition

Good condition, minimal surface wear to the case, the dial shows some surface wear near the small seconds as pictured, the watch currently runs. (We do not guarantee functionality or time keeping.)
