Highlights include a newly discovered work by Leonard Tsuguharu Foujita, an impressive Imperial quality Chinese floor screen, Chinese cloisonne, pottery and porcelain from the 12th to 20th centuries, bronzes from India and Southeast Asia, art including works by Pierre-Charles Comte, H. One in the form of the character "Fu" (Happiness) and the other "Shou" (Long Life)

 

Dimensions: 7 3/4 in. high and 9 3/4 in. high

 

Provenance: The Estate of Dr. Neuman S. Mittel of Boston and Cape Cod, Massachusetts.

Condition

The "Shou" pot with foo dog finial on lid.  With very minor chips, rubbing and wear to decoration.  Build-up of dirt.

 

The "Fu" pot with build-up of dirt and very minor rubbing and wear to decoration.
